We are a ‘Good’ School!

I am delighted to be able to inform you of the result of the Ofsted school inspection, which took place on 2 and 3 July. Two HMI’s visited us to inspect and as a result I can share that our school is now officially rated ‘Good’ across every single area. We feel extremely proud of our report, which recognises the amazing progress made since our last Ofsted.

When I began my journey with you in May 2022, I saw straight away how amazing our Patrington children are and I wanted above all else for the children here to feel happy and supported and be challenged to be their best. I attach a copy of the report for your perusal, however, the most important quote of all for me, was the one selected below.

Inspectors wrote:

“Pupils are happy at this nurturing village school.”

The support from parents was significant and we really appreciate you taking the time to complete questionnaires or speak to the inspectors. Many of you within our parent community have been on this long journey with us and we want to thank every single one of you for your continued support.

Our children were an absolute credit to you and the inspectors spoke extremely highly of all of their interactions with them. In fact the words the lead inspector told me in person were that  “Your pupils represented you magnificently.”
